Miss Rita performs her book!
For 35 years, I provided a well-received early childhood educational entertainment enrichment program in schools. (ages 3-8).
With the permission of publishers, I dramatized acclaimed children’s books. However, one of my performances included a story that I wrote entitled “I Can’t Right Now.” Everyone loved it. In fact, it was repeatedly suggested that I convert the play into a book. It took me a long time to find the right artist. Finally, after many years of searching, I had the privilege of working with the very talented, Wendy Annal, as the illustrator.
I am passionate about sharing this wonderful story with others. This will happen through live dramatizations in early childhood classrooms. Following the performances, parents will not only have the special opportunity to obtain the book to read with their child, but also, support their youngster’s school through a unique fundraiser.
